Job Description
Activities and Responsibilities
Role Objective as KAM
- Responsible for maximizing utilization and patient outcomes of the Takeda offering (portfolio of pharmaceutical products and services) in designated territories/accounts
- Drive account stakeholder relationships; develop and monitor long-term relationships between Takeda, the account and its key stakeholders
- Responsible for driving and achieving the business objectives within the allocated budget
Role Objective as Brand Lead
- Plan promotional activities with line manager and promotional budget and annual expenses
- Create and elaborate the annual marketing plans (Brand plans per strategic products for GI & RMD business unit)
- In collaboration with the medical department propose, create and/or adapt relevant Promo materials to support field activities.
- Secure implementation of agreed tactics according to planned activities as a part of tactical part in Brand plans
- Option Lead and Key account management in specialized treatment centers, support and leverage customer connectivity locally and internationally, product promotion at scientific events.
- Proactive surveillance of pricing environment and support local team to maintain reimbursement within defined price range. Support HCPs to obtain individual patient level reimbursement.
- Initiate and organize commercial education activities to increase disease awareness, product knowledge and support product promotion.
Accountabilities
Account Management
- Understand the account situation, challenges, and needs
- Formulate comprehensive, robust and insight-driven key account plans
- Deliver on agreed objectives and tactics within the key accounts in order to drive
Takeda performance - Ensure account plans, objectives and KPIs are transparent to the whole account team and senior leaders
- Support and collaborate with In-Field Market Access territory partner to gain product access to local formularies and/or protocols within own accounts.
- In coordination with supply chain, ensure Takeda product(s) is/are available at an account level
- Operate in a manner that is always in line with compliance and legal requirements and according to marketing and sales strategies.
- Act as an ambassador of the Takeda brand, its vision, and values
Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop long-term relationships between Takeda and key strategic accounts and
their stakeholders - Identify key external stakeholders and develop a deep understanding of their needs, collaborating on initiatives and co-creating mutually beneficial solutions that will add value to them and the patients
- Drive the implementation of the innovative offerings with key stakeholders and help differentiate Takeda from its competitors
- Support and advise Healthcare professionals on the correct use of Takeda product and services portfolio
Area covered: Bulgaria - National Level
Education, behavioral competencies and skills
Experience and Education
- Essential:
- University degree in Medicine/Biology/Chemistry/Pharmacy or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of sales experience and at least 2 years in marketing role (as product manager, product specialist et.) in specialized prescription pharmaceutical business and/or hospital sector.
- Experienced in Marketing and/or Hospital Management.
- Commercial and marketing experience in pre-launch and launch activities with particular emphasis on specialty products will be considered as advantage
- Previous experience with CRM and Veeva will be considered as advantage
- Excellent expertise on the country health care system.
- Fluency in Bulgarian and Good English language skills (written and spoken).
- IT skills (MS Office proficiency as a minimum).
- Desired:
- Intimate knowledge of the country pharmaceutical industry's code of conduct and compliance regulations.
- Existing contacts with specialists in relevant specialties treating Therapy area diseases
