The US Medical Digital Engagement and Insights team is evolving to meet the demands and changes in Takeda’s business. Increasingly, Takeda is investing in data, digital, and technology to accelerate innovation and create value for the organization. US Medical has the opportunity to enhance scientific exchange for HCPs and increase effectiveness by leveraging technology to meet medical strategies and objectives.
Overview:
The Associate Director, Omnichannel Engagement Lead (Veeva) (AD, Veeva) will advance US Medical’s omnichannel approach to scientific exchange content across a diverse array of stakeholders with the overarching objectives to collaborate with relevant stakeholders to establish, manage, and evolve related business processes and systems.
The AD, Veeva Lead will work alongside the AD, CRM/CLM Lead, Digital Capability Leads, other US Medical functions, and technology platform owners (DD&T) balancing US Medical ecosystem priorities and stakeholder input.
Role Objectives:
o The Associate Director, Omnichannel Engagement Lead (Veeva) (AD, Veeva) is a critical role within the US Medical (USM) organization that reports to the Head of Digital Engagement and Insights.
o As the owner of US Medical’s Veeva strategy and related workstreams, the objectives of this role are to:
A “continuous improvement mindset” is needed to lead the evolution and scaling of the business system capabilities over time. As an essential component of US Medical’s omnichannel strategy, it is necessary for this individual to leverage these business systems to achieve engagement objectives for US Medical.
Responsibilities:
Understanding and Improving Existing Processes and Systems:
o Own the Veeva strategy and develop and maintain US Medical’s overall Veeva roadmap, both in its current state and as the business environment evolves.
o Collaborate with differing stakeholders to understand current and potential system capabilities and end-user preferences/requirements related to functionality and content offered through relevant Takeda platforms, including methods and options for personalization of content.
o Conduct analysis to uncover gaps and challenges, and areas of opportunity for a more streamlined approach.
o Execute suggested improvement by working with the Head of Digital Engagement and Insights and relevant stakeholders to evolve related business systems and improve the scientific exchange umbrella.
Veeva MedComms Related Responsibilities:
o Implement and evolve Veeva solutions within US Medical using Veeva MedComms, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems and processes including but not limited to Vault and Scientific Statements.
o Evolve existing systems to meet the specific needs of US Medical, including configuring the CRM system, content management, and other relevant modules.
o Contribute to the development of strategies for utilizing Veeva systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of medical communications initiatives.
Veeva PromoMats Related Responsibilities:
o Implement and evolve Veeva solutions within US Medical using Veeva Promomats, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems and processes; including but not limited to CRM and CLM.
o Ensure optimal, thoughtful integration and documentation into the organization’s existing or new processes or capabilities.
o Evolve the system to align with the specific needs and workflows of the organization.
o Collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective communication and coordination throughout the data lifecycle.
Data Analytics and Reporting and Metrics:
o Utilize data analytics tools to analyze relevant data ensuring the evolution from metrics to insights to action.
o Measure key performance indicators (KPIs) driving data-driven decision making
o Engage in pilots/thoughtful experimentation to improve processes.
Internal Representation (As Needed)
o Coordinate with the Digital Head, including attending required meetings, and presenting on the SLT.
Present at cross-functional / cross-division meetings

Education, Experience, Skills:
Required:
o Bachelor's Degree.
o 3+ years’ experience working in digital marketing operations, or marketing technology-related functions.
o Healthcare experience or pharmaceutical industry knowledge.
o Experience working with cloud-computing and/or traditional data applications (e.g., Veeva, Adobe, Diamond, Salesforce, other CRM, etc.).
o Excellent communication (oral, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
o Demonstrated planning and organization skills, attention to detail, execution, and follow-through.
o Experience with social media platforms and their application.
Preferred:
o Advanced Degree (e.g., MBA, Computer Science).
o Demonstrated success in a cross-functional environment successfully delivering objectives.
o Involved in the development, roll-out, or evolution of a data platform for digital marketing.
o 3+ years of digital leadership role experience.
o 3+ years of program and/or project management experience.
o 3+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical-industry-focused marketing.
Deep knowledge of digital analytics and social listening.
Licences/Certifications:
Maintain minimum standards of education/certification in individual professional discipline.
Travel Requirements:
Periodic travel required (up to 15%).

For Location:
Lexington, MAU.S. Base Salary Range:
$149,100.00 - $234,300.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
