WORK SCHEDULE
  • 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Mondays - Fridays
    POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
  • Performs scheduled process audits, records process performance to documented procedures, identifies non-conformities, and monitors policy/procedure accuracy across the Supply Chain value stream
  • Monitors supply chain performance and ensure that work meets the planned outcome
  • Manages the supply chain process audit and non-conformity review calendar for the supply chain senior leader team
    DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
    UW Medicine Supply Chain’s objective is to ensure our patient care experience is enhanced by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise. This includes a primary focus on customer service, as well as maintaining appropriate levels of general, medical, and surgical supplies throughout each facility.
    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain a process audit schedule with the supply chain leadership team. The quality coordinator works with local departmental leaders
  • Issues non-conformities based on process observation, monitors non-conformity action plans, and partners with leaders on follow-up audits.
  • Documents audit progress and results to share with organizational leadership
  • Develops and shares key supply chain process measures and the quality program impact on overall performance
  • Manages the UWM supply chain policy and procedure database and ensure that the documents are updated according to organization standards
  • Supports the supply chain document control program and report policy update status to department leadership. Ensure that procedures are accurate and accessible to staff.
  • Provide upstream/downstream process recommendations based on experience and exposure to multiple workflows. Share best practice with department leaders and connect workgroups on process improvement work.
    REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years Healthcare supply chain, quality programs, Office tools
