Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Product Managers and Developers throughout Student Loan projects and features to ensure that all areas of testing are successfully completed and documented and all problems are resolved before release.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and communicate any impactful changes to the team.
• Ability to lead Student Loan initiatives from a QA perspective.
• Demonstrated experience writing test plans and test cases and have a Quality mindset.
• Work closely with Product when presented with a project where requirements may not be clear and involving appropriate teams when scope creep occurs.
• Create detailed defect reports and work with developers to narrow down the root cause of issues.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with strong decision-making skills.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior experience with development methodologies like Kanban, Agile, Scrum etc.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong knowledge of test process, testing techniques and software test tools.
• Knowledge of tools such as Postman, Testrail, Docker, and JIRA a plus
• Knowledge of Agile or Scrum based development a plus
