Job Description
Twitch is seeking a highly experienced marketer to join on to lead our marketing & communication efforts to our highly enthusiastic EMEA audiences (creators, viewers, developers, advertisers, and media). You will be instrumental in driving full funnel marketing campaigns including defining and geo-localizating corporate narratives, product and brand messaging, content strategies, and events strategies. Reporting to the CMO, this role will have high visibility across HQ marketing, partner management, product, content, and business development teams. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, consumer tech savvy, and strategically focused individual with significant experience working in cross functional B2C marketing organizations with the ability to manage complex marketing channels / campaigns with multiple business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Build and drive effective marketing & communication strategies to Twitch EMEA audiences including the management and use of earned (PR), shared (social, influencers), owned (email, on-Twitch, blog), and paid (digital and offline) media
- Develop strong relationships between Twitch and it’s EMEA creators and viewers to better understand their needs, motivations, challenges, and aspirations that ultimately translates to actionable marketing strategy, narratives, and execution plans
- Own the development of narrative arcs, whether geo-localized or unique to EMEA, that brings together content and product features that best addresses business needs while staying on brand
- Work closely with key marketing, product, content, and partner management to champion the Twitch brand in EMEA
- Build campaign strategy and execution GTM plans that ladders up to overall brand and audience narratives; engage with internal creative, channel, and analytics team to ensure execution and delivery of results
- Create reports and review campaign performance and ROI
- Oversee and manage third party PR, creative, social, media agencies as needed
Requirements
- 12+ years of demonstrated success and subject matter expertise in marketing, communications, product marketing, content marketing, and campaign execution
- Experience working with consumer brands that have global audiences and global impact with HQ in the US
- Experience working as an individual contributor as well as managing multi functional marketing teams of varying levels and size
- A love of insights and data and can develop and understand how to target and message key audiences across traditional, new and emerging media
- Strong writing acumen (ie, storytelling, messaging, brand guidelines copy)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Sound business judgment; strategic and analytical capabilities
- Ability to prioritize and multitask; ability to adapt to a fast moving environment
- Excellent team player with ability to maintain strong internal and external relationships
- A creative and disruptive approach; An energetic and growth mindset
- A scrappy and enthusiastic personality; a passion for creating and a love for games and pop culture
- Bachelor’s degree required
