About You

As the Regional Director for our State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) Team, you’ll work hands on to shape up the footprint of all AppDynamics solutions across the US. You will be responsible for building a Velocity-centric sales model that focuses on new logo acquisition. The key to your success will be directly tied to the quality and quantity of programs that you launch to better partner with Cisco’s GTM, collaborate with our VAR and SI community, and recruit top sales talent. We’ll need your style to build our young, dynamic and promising company, while building upon a proven successful sales methodology. You’ll be in the front seat driving our explosive number growth and paving the way for market domination.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Minimum 8 years of successful direct sales experience
  • Prior experience leading and coaching sales teams
  • Domain expertise selling into the SLED vertical
  • Background in technical applications, familiarity with SaaS a plus
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles and understanding of contracting vehicles like NASPO, GSA, etc.
  • Excellent communication (written, oral) and presentation skills (in-person, virtual).
  • Comfort working closely and building relationships with C-Level executive.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and run developmental programs and coaching for your team
  • Experience working with business cases, cost modeling and other quantitative techniques to educate and assist potential buyers
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Unwavering dedication to integrity and professionalism
