What you’ll be doing...
The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely and appropriate payment of customer accounts.
Some of the things you will be doing...
- Follow-up with customer accounts for invoice and contract payments.
- Receive and manage incoming calls and emails negotiating with clients for resolution of outstanding payments
- Accurately process various monthly, quarterly, and annual billings
- Perform routine checks and balances
- Maintain files and accounting documentation
- Prepare monthly reconciliations, as needed
- Post daily receivables transactions
- Provide clear communication to management related to upcoming payments, disputes and potential write offs
- Send statements and invoice level detail as necessary
- Team up with sales teams worldwide to resolve open disputes to bring the account to current
- Assist in maintaining departmental goals currently noted as DSO, CEI, Aging Percent Current, and other goals as may be deemed necessary by management
- Perform research and reconciliation of complex accounts with outstanding balances

- Customer Centric. Excellent customer service
- Accurate. Strong attention to detail and drive for accuracy and continuous improvement. Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Technically Savvy. Experience working with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel. NetSuite and Salesforce.com is preferred
- Strong Communicator. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Problem Solver . Ability to problem solve and analyze large volumes of data
- Team Player. Ability to work effectively in a team as well work independently.
- Experienced. 2+ years of accounts receivable and collections experience, technology-focused industry experience preferred
- Educated. Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
