Job Description
At Plaid, our mission is to empower innovators by delivering access to the financial system. Since 2012 we've helped tens of millions of consumers live a better financial life and over a thousand customers build a new financial future. Our customers range from startups like Stripe, Coinbase and Square to Fortune 500 enterprises like American Express and PayPal. Founded in 2012, Plaid has raised $300M+ of capital from major venture capital firms such as Kleiner Perkins, Andreessen Horowitz, Index, Spark and NEA, as well as global financial institutions such as Goldman Sachs and Citi. But we’re just getting started. The enablement group sits inside the GTM Partnerships Team and manages all elements of the programs that we use with our partners to maximize relationships and drive new opportunities to Plaid. Enablement programs are curated to the specific industries and needs of each partner and contain components such as: co-marketing initiatives, sales trainings, webinars and industry education, integration optimizations, case studies, events, and just about anything else to drive value for both the partner and Plaid! The enablement function collaborates closely with Partner Account Executives on each partner’s program, creating an “account team” to ensure that each partnership is growing with the attention it deserves. Successful members of the enablement team will have experience in partner marketing, relationship management, and channel sales, as well as a love of creative experimentation, since no two partners are truly alike.
What excites you
- Championing our partners and making them successful with Plaid
- Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Growth, Solutions Engineering, Product, and more to collaborate and execute on complex objectives
- Flexing a variety of diverse business skills, from sales trainings to consulting with partners around how to design their Plaid integration
- Structuring and building an enablement program from the ground up
What excites us
- 2+ years experience in commercial technology partnerships, partner marketing, and/or channel sales; consideration will also be given to high-performing business generalists
- Strong instincts around partner marketing, co-sales, and other commercial strategies
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally within the company (partnering with marketing, sales, design teams, etc.)
- Excellent relationship skills
- Retail financial services and/or tech startup experience a plus
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
