React Native Developer

Job Description

We're looking for a developer experienced with React Native and additional experience in one or more other mobile development environments, such as iOS development with Swift/Objective-C, or Android Development with Java/Kotlin, or even web development to join our team in London. You’ll work with our clients to build great products that delight users while using weekly investment time to improve ourselves, our company, and our community.

thoughtbot mobile developers are able to build high-quality, test-driven mobile applications. Well-qualified candidates have an excellent knowledge of React Native and JavaScript. React Native experience and additional experience in one or more other mobile development environments, such as iOS development with Swift/Objective-C, or Android Development with Java/Kotlin, or even web development is a must.

Our team works in a relaxed and educational environment to develop excellent products for our clients. We work a sustainable pace of 40 hours/week, consulting for clients four days/week. We also like to learn. Everything we do is predicated on having a great team and a culture of growing. We use the latest technologies and are always down to try new methods on both internal and client projects.

We like to keep ourselves happy while we work. Our offices are fully stocked with everything from tasty snacks to neat little notebooks, and we organise quarterly social activities.

ALWAYS LEARNING, ALWAYS TEACHING

On Fridays, we have "investment time" to learn new tools and techniques, work on open source, create new products, write blog posts, and try to make ourselves, each other, and the community better. We top this off with a double hack day at the end of the year.
