Associate Seasonal Tax Specialist Cincinnati, OH Job Summary
The Associate Seasonal Tax Specialist is responsible for the accurate preparation of tax returns and payment coupons for clients utilizing the Tax filing service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing tax packets, which includes preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns.*
• Prepare tax returns using BNA, Paycor software and agency websites which requires understanding total wages, taxable wages, exempt wages, etc. This includes transferring numbers such as tax IDs, period start and end dates, SSNs and wages.
• Responsible for preparing and mailing monthly packets and ensuring that they are printed, logged and sent out to clients using the assigned delivery method. This includes confirming the shipment and delivery of tax documents to tax agencies.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of multi-state and local tax forms and reporting requirements*
• Responsible for resolving tax discrepancies
• Update client information including account numbers, changes and similar data.*
• Prepare client communication to close accounts with tax agencies
• Balancing and sending of tax agency electronic files*
• Organize and maintain all of the reference documents based on agency rules and regulations.
• Work with both Notices and Amended group as well as Taxing Authorities on an as-needed basis
• Other duties as assigned

• Strong math aptitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal, communications and organizational skills
• Familiar with Windows Office
• Basic understanding of creating and maintaining PDF forms is extremely helpful
