In our work together we embody our values: Be a founder, Murder drama, and Enjoy the ride.As a senior product marketing manager on the team, you will be responsible for planning and executing various initiatives to drive awareness, consideration, and adoption of Podium products. PMMs at Podium set product positioning, create powerful messaging, develop go-to-market strategy, and lead the execution of key launches and campaigns that push our business forward. This role is cross-functional in nature and will require successful partnership with product, sales, engineering, design, and various other teams across the company.
What you will be doing:- Define the messaging & positioning of our products and features to prospects and customers
- Drive development of launch strategy and GTM plans for new features and upgrades to Podium’s products
- Own the development of customer-facing marketing assets to support product storytelling (e.g. customer case studies, product videos, website copy, blog posts) to articulate the benefits of our products to the world
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Sales and Business Development to create and maintain the cohesiveness of our messaging and positioning
- Support the enablement of our sales teams around the user, the product, the market and our competitors
- Create and manage research projects to better understand current market trends, the broader competitive landscape and existing user needs
- Develop and launch campaigns to drive customer acquisition as well as customer retention
What you should have:- 4+ years of proven success in a software-based PMM role required
- Professional demeanor with demonstrated ability to interact with and lead diverse teams
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, visual), both for internal audiences and customer-facing messaging
- Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated capabilities interpreting data and qualitative research and distilling into actionable key takeaways
- Self-starter with ability to build programs from scratch while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to manage in an environment of ambiguity with diverse stakeholders
- MBA from a top program
