Tradesy is seeking an exceptionally talented IT Support Technician with great interpersonal, communication and time management skills. The ideal candidate loves to tackle challenging system issues and never gives up, always finds a way!
You Will:
- Provide superior technology assistance to users in a timely manner, including setup, configuration, and basic explanation via in-person or remotely via phone, email and Slack
- Enhance and build systems to automate the on-boarding and off-boarding process using industry best practices
- Manage account access for G-Suite and SASS solutions used by Tradesy
- Implement forward thinking security practices in our systems and application suites
- Support new-hire onboarding and equipment setup
- Ensure proper user licenses are fulfilled
- Rapidly respond and resolve issues related to the office network and conference equipment (Google Meets)
- Complete basic requests on first contact, and follow through longer projects to completion
- Ensure workstations, phones and software function properly and reliably
- Maintain a complete inventory and stock of all assets: hardware, software, printers, and other technology assets
- Purchase tech equipment as needed and quickly replace or repair inoperable devices
- Work with the accounting department to budget and track IT spending on a monthly and quarterly basis
You Have:
- Minimum of 3 years in an IT help desk or technical support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android, and other computers and peripherals
- Strong understanding of Jamf or similar tools to perform Mobile Device Management and application deployment
- Strong project management skills
- Familiarity with UniFi network hardware
- Amazing troubleshooting skills and the ability to find the root cause behind any issue
- Experience with IT purchasing and vendor relationships
- Experience working cross-departmentally on IT projects
- Strong knowledge of Mac use and troubleshooting
- Excellent documentation skills

- Skilled at demonstrating and explaining technology to the non-technical
- Meticulously thorough, detail-oriented, organized work habits
- Perceptive of needs for hardware, software, and other tools to improve users’ experience
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Pluses:
- Some experience with Atlassian applications – Jira and Confluence
- Audio/video equipment, conference room systems
- Network concepts: DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, etc.
- Past experience working in a customer service role
- Experience in hardware repair of computers and other electronics
- Familiarity with Apple DEP setup and generating certificates
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and AWS
