SugarCRM is looking for a senior creative designer to own the visual identity for the new Sugar and ensure its executed across all facets of the business. We’re looking for someone who is experienced in designing, collaborating and handling a diverse mix of creative design requests in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, collaborative, and brand-obsessed.
As part of the marketing team, your primary focus is on digital asset creation, corporate brand development and email design. Additionally, you will support many departments to establish digital design and brand consistency on everything from presentations to event experiences and video. The ideal candidate has design skills that know no bounds, is enthusiastic but designs with purpose and focus on amplifying the Sugar brand in the marketplace.
Impact you will make in the role:
- Conceptualize and implement design solutions that meet marketing strategies from concept to completion that may include web page layouts; graphic illustrations and icons; advertising and social media graphics; print and swag designs; trade show assets and collateral
- Reinvent and build the look and feel for primary channels of digital communication- emails, landing pages, and advertising
- Create branded designs for ebooks, infographics, and other corporate collateral
- Update and improve existing assets and style guidelines to establish consistent branding across channels and internal purposes
- Lead creative execution to ensure effectiveness of messaging and integrity of brand to all internal and external audiences, communicating expectations and standards of work quality
- Working knowledge of emerging web technologies, industry trends, competitor products, and creative experience trends
- Assist with various technical production responsibilities as needed, including video and image optimization
- Strive to find the unique balance between adhering to brand guidelines and business requirements but always creatively pushing the envelope
Expertise you will bring in:
- 4+ years of digital design experience within a software environment
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Development, or related field preferred
- Proficient in WordPress design
- Advanced technical skills in the Adobe Creative Suite — specifically Animate, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and good working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JS experience is a plus
- Experience using a marketing automation tool
- Knowledge of display, video and social media design standards
- Ability to troubleshoot design/brand issues with minimal guidance
- Strong communication and project management skills
