We've expanded our customer base in relationship-driven industries and we now power hundreds of top investment teams around the world - from investment arms of Fortune 100 companies to the biggest venture capital funds in Silicon Valley. We’re fundamentally changing the way people cultivate and harness their networks, and we're building a world-class engineering team to tackle some of our toughest challenges. As we've expanded into new markets with users who spend most of their time on the go, our mobile app has become an increasingly crucial part of our product strategy and central to our user experience. In this role, you'll be one of the founding members of our dedicated mobile team. You'll take the lead in pushing the limits of what's possible with mobile technology to create a delightful, seamless, lightning-fast product experience. You'll help tackle our hardest mobile challenges, serve as a technical mentor for other engineers on the team, and help define the future of how modern professionals around the world use their relationships.

We'd love to hear from you if:

• You have at least 5 years of engineering experience, including at least 3 years of mobile experience
• You're comfortable with React Native, and have a good feel for what is and is not possible
• You have a proven track record of building high-quality, complex, delightful mobile applications
• You take pride in maintaining excellent product quality as well as championing engineering best practices
• You're excited about teaching, learning, and working collaboratively across functions as well as within engineering
• You like to voice your opinions, but are eager to change them based on data

A BIT ABOUT US Relationships are the backbone of the world's most valuable industries—from sales and business development to finance and philanthropy. But the tools used today to manage those relationships are broken. Actionable context remains locked away in the email and calendar streams of coworkers and colleagues, and no one has the time to analyze or organize this exponentially growing trail of data. Affinity ingests and analyzes this massive communications data stream and uses it to power our platform, which helps our customers understand, manage, and leverage their networks more effectively. We've raised over $40M, and in the past two years, we launched the product and have since processed over 1 billion communication data points and generated 4+ million introductions and connections while capturing close to 40% of the global venture capital market. We are also actively breaking into new markets. We're growing fast and we’ve got a lot left to build. TECH STACK Our mobile app is built with React Native, TypeScript, and Redux. Some of our other core technologies at Affinity are Ruby, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes. We love learning and teaching, and we’re happy to bring on strong engineers whether or not they have experience with these particular tools.
