We are a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, product managers, operations and legal experts building products and tools that are changing the future of the legal industry. As a Legal Partnerships Associate, you will have a unique opportunity to grow our network of partner firms who will help us deliver a greater breadth and depth of services to our client base. These partnerships are integral to our Atrium’s overall strategy and is a great chance to dive into the startup ecosystem and its ties to legal while building a skill set that will allow you to eventually progress into roles in the growth or operations functions. Your work will be highly impactful by helping us grow our specialist network and build strong relationships with partner law firms. We have a goal to grow our network by 5x by the end of 2020 and your work to source, vet, and build relationships with our specialists will be essential to achieving that goal. We are using modern techniques such as deep learning to work with documents and emails to help classify, extract from, and summarize intelligently. Atrium is a fast-growing company with leadership opportunities available to you as the team continues to expand.
What will you be doing?
- Develop and execute thoughtful partnership arrangements with partner firms
- Be able to quickly mobilize and reach out to firms if we don’t have someone in-network for a client need
- Build target lists of firms based on key need areas for the firm and strategic areas for revenue expansion and drive engagement strategies
- Work cross-functionally with legal, product, and marketing to drive long term engagement with our partner firms
What does success look like in this role?
- 2+ years in professional services or in a partnership, business development or sales role
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (i.e., Product, Marketing, Operations)
- Strong level of comfort with clients. Ability to build meaningful and lasting relationships
- Action-oriented, and strong project management skills
- Not afraid to ask the “hard questions” to ensure business expectations are met.
- Charismatic and has a high EQ to react deftly to different situations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and phone presence
- Deep passion for the entrepreneurial ecosystem
- Team player who actively collaborates with everyone on the sales team
