As a Sales Manager, you will lead a team of 5-8 Account Executives that are passionate about delivering excellent topline performance with the highest integrity to foster long-term relationships with our clients. Your team is focused on handling both inbound and outbound prospects that are looking to break from the norm (non-responsive and expensive BigLaw providers) and work with a company built by tech founders that is optimized for efficiency and expertise. Our Account Executives are trained to do deep and meaningful discovery to help prospects think through their needs, and then provide them with a value-rich solution-oriented demo/service plan that best meets their needs. These needs can run from very simple general corporate needs as they initially grow to complex fundraising round guidance and legal support. Sales cycles typically run 2 - 30 days, with initial deal sizes ranging from $6k - $75K+.
What would you be doing?
- Attract, recruit, lead and retain a team of Account Executive and scale the team to meet the needs of our fast-growing client base
- Diagnose prospect needs and prescribe the appropriate technology and services to meet their needs now and in the foreseeable future
- Be responsible for delivering exceptional client service and growing revenue on a day-to-day basis
- Partner with our legal “sales engineers” when appropriate to work through more complex situations to best prescribe a plan with the team
- Act as spokesperson and point of contact with key account staff through the initial engagement process when needed
- Analyze reporting of revenue and performance statistics, identifying opportunities and growth plans
- Research and author territory and growth plans that articulate clear objectives and means to achieve them
- Plan and execute monthly/quarterly update meetings and year-end performance reviews for each Account Executive
What does success look like in this role?
- 5+ years experience in B2B organizations, some legal and/or startup background/knowledge very desirable
- 2+ years experience in Sales leadership roles
- Experience with cloud-based/SaaS solution offerings
- Ability to quickly grasp and distinctly explain technological, legal and business concepts
- Excellent organization, project management, time management, and communication skills; you’re detail oriented and have the ability to set priorities and be flexible in a changing environment
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and external constituencies, including senior level executives
- Willingness to 'roll up one's sleeves' and assist wherever needed
- Desire to innovate to continue improving the way Atrium serves its customers
