You will be mentored by a senior engineer and a part of a team that likes to learn new skills and contribute phenomenal things in an enticing environment. Most of the work will be in Ruby and/or React but there will be opportunities to get into Golang and Mobile Development. • Time dedicated to discussing & POC-ing product ideas created from ALL employees, including engineering
• We regularly pull in tech-debt items to work on in sprints
• Tight-knit relationship with the Product Team while using data-driven decision making
• Projects using new technology with an open ear to suggestions on improvements and changes
• We get our work assignments through two-week sprints which include kickoff, grooming (estimation), retrospective and daily standups. We deploy multiple times a day and have a pretty well tooled local development setup.

Who you will be working with:

• Collaborative work environment. Our engineers are super friendly and love to help each other out!
• Weekly 1 on 1 with your manager
• Bi-weekly company-wide demo day to find out what individuals throughout the company are working on
• Clear and defined promotion path for all engineers
• Work with leaders in the industry, principal and senior engineers, engineering managers, Data Scientists, QA’s, and DevOps Engineers
  

What you bring to the table:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• 6+ months of professional programming in Ruby or React
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL)
• Never stop learning and are always ready to pick up new languages, frameworks, libraries
