Aon is looking for a Python Developer

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting our Mergers & Acquisitions – Intellectual Property Strategy group in Redman, Washington.

Your impact as a Python Developer

Job Responsibilities:

The Python Developer will take existing code base and re-writing as scalable, maintainable, and documented. The person in this position will understand machine learning and natural language processing code in order to expose existing functionality to new users. The Python Developer will write new features with effective, scalable code, developing back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance including light database development, developing visualizations in Ploty, D3, etc., and integrating user-facing elements into applications to enable non-programming users to use.

Integrate user-facing elements into applications

Test and debug programs

Improve functionality of existing systems

Implement security and data protection solutions

Assess and prioritize feature requests

Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

Required Experience:

• 2 years’ work experience as a Python Developer
• Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask or Pyramid)
• Knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (like JavaScript and HTML5)
• Good problem-solving skills
• Work experience at a top-tier employer preferred

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field or equivalent work experience
