WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Deploy and manage applications running on Kubernetes/AWS/GCP
• Manage and improve our CI/CD, monitoring and other infrastructure tooling
• Work hand-in-hand with designers, product managers, business stakeholders and fellow engineers to ideate, design, and implement infrastructure solutions that are used by tens of thousands of customers as well as our internal teams
• Work with cutting-edge technologies and introduce improvements to our stack, end-user experience, business processes, and workflows via rapid prototypes/proof-of-concepts
• Collaborate with our agile team that champions software and infrastructure best practices
  

THE RIGHT STUFF

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of professional experience supporting application deployments to AWS, Kubernetes, or another cloud solution
• Professional experience operating/deploying/supporting Kubernetes
• Professional experience managing Docker and container deployments
• Professional experience developing in Golang
• Strong general proficiency with Linux
• Experience with the HashiCorp stack, especially defining infrastructure-as-code with Terraform
• Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with CircleCI/Jenkins/Bamboo
• Experience working on a fast-paced, lean organization that is 100% accountable for its commitments
• Able to take high-level requests, break them down to digestible tasks, and own them to completion
• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• Passion for maintainable code, automated testing, and thorough code review
• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Professional experience deploying and managing Django based Python applications
• Experience with multiple programming languages or a desire to learn them
• Experience with secret management/zero-trust models
• Experience with data-pipelines or other forms of ETL
