SUMMARY:

Under Armour (UA) is seeking a Channel Marketing Intern to assist the Channel Marketing Manager in all aspects of Marketing requests, communicating with stores, headquarters and external parties. This is a great opportunity to work with all levels of the organization and provide the necessary help with executing marketing activations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Connect and support the marketing team to execute marketing activations with retail partners.
• Ensure and align the VM and POP implementation with the brand guidelines, provide feedback to Sales and Marketing Teams.
• Offer creative input on campaigns with a particular focus on product technology and promotions.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop marketing plans, POS materials, in-store promotions to drive traffic and increase sales.
• Develop and manage weekly, monthly and annual strategic plans for all marketing in-store activities based on merchandising initiatives and sales goals.
• Direct the process for the entire campaign planning and execution, writing guidelines for internal staff.
• Work hand in hand with the sales team to create a database of major key stores with details: plan, marketing contact, visibility in the store, marketing support in the store, planogram per season, etc.
• Organize the production and distribution of marketing and POS materials with external agency.
• Lead the strategic development and planning of all in-store marketing activations.
• Own marketing relationship with external parties.
• Support the Sales & Marketing teams with the seasonal set-up and branding of the Barcelona showroom.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Creative and analytical thinking, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Strong computer skills: Excel & PowerPoint.
• Hands on mentality, not afraid to take the lead in a project.
• The applicant must be enrolled as student during the internship period.
• You should be currently enrolled as student.
• You would need to provide an internship agreement from current University.
• Available for 6 months, starting at the beginning of January.
