Which team will you be part of?
You will be part of Cloudreachs amazing Security Operations team. They are the brain boxes who advise our customers on security best practice and help support their environments, keeping them safe from security threats as well as manage Cloudreachs internal security posture.
What will your role be?
The core mission of a DevSecOps Engineer is to maintain our customers’ security posture across cloud service and infrastructure resources, though the identification, investigation and mitigation of security events.

Key responsibilities:
- Support the development and monitoring of Cloudreach Security Management processes and supporting tools ensuring we meet our ISO270001 obligations plus our customer / contractual obligations.
- Monitor security industry trends, developments and emerging threats including sharing insight with wider team and customers where appropriate.
- Lead the adoption of third-party security solutions such as Alert Logic across the Global Cloud Operations Team.
- Implement a tools driven and highly automated approach to deliver our key security management processes by exploiting investment in existing tooling (e.g. ServiceNow, Chef, Splunk) and / or identify new tooling.
- Ensure the Global Cloud Operations team has, or is actively developing, the skills required to successfully deliver managed service security solutions.
- Lead the response to security incidents including assessment of customer impact and the development and implementation of mitigation and remediation actions.
- Regularly engage with our Competencies and Product Development teams to ensure our features and roadmap for our cloud security solutions continue to evolve to meet the needs of the Cloud Operations team, wider business and our customers.
- Engage with our strategic and solution partners to ensure Cloud Operations retains required partner accreditations.

- Cloud systems - Will have good to expert knowledge about cloud practises
- System administration - Comfortable with Unix/Windows system and interacting with them
- Network - Have a solid understanding of Networking
- Proactive/Ownership - Will be looking to resolve issue with little guidelines
- Customer obsessed - Will be able to articulate and help the customer as the best of the capacities
- Inquisitive - Actively interested in what's going on in the customer environment, this will help get better decision making
- Not afraid of failure - Will be able to continue to learn and improve things without being afraid.
