What you'll do:

Reporting into VP Audience & Content Strategy, responsible for international audience growth across O&O and social channels.

• Managing a team of audience developments specialists across London and Berlin to distribute content and grow organic visits to refinery.com
• Focus on SEO strategy, process implementation and reporting
• Supporting editorial team with keyword focuses, opportunities and optimizations
• Increasing scale through always on test and learn strategies
• Interpreting, analyzing and reporting both content and audience data
• Championing audience insights across the wider business
• Overseeing syndication and content platform partnerships whilst keeping brand mission at the core of expansion strategy
• Keeping the team abreast of industry trends and developments including anything that might affect performance of refinery29.com
• Support affiliate revenue with search optimized content strategy
• Support with guidance on innovative social programming
• Work on our evergreen strategy to increase the value per article

What you have:

• Experienced in using Google Analytics and interpreting data
• Experience and passion for the digital media industry
• Experience working across multiple digital channels including a strong understanding and interest in SEO
• On the ball with the latest social platform news and programming trends
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including exceptional Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience managing a team
