Job Description
Marketing Manager, Accelerator Programs Boulder, CO Techstars is growing and we are looking for a Marketing Manager to support our expanding global accelerator business. As a Marketing Manager for our accelerator programs you will manage and execute on marcomms efforts to support our accelerators around the world. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, Marketing for Accelerators, this role manages lifecycle marcomms activities and ongoing operations in support of Techstars’ accelerator programs. You should have a deep understanding of, and passion for, developing and executing brand-focused and corporate-partner driven marketing and communications programs, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while considering and building systems to scale. You will work closely with our Strategic Account Managers and Accelerator Operations teams in support of our accelerators, corporate partners and brand goals. This position covers a range of diverse marcomms activities that require experience in public relations, content development/creation, project management, relationship management, and more.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works closely with and for Sr. Marketing Manager to execute strategic communications campaigns through content development, media relations, social, and other channels
- Responsible for day-to-day execution and management of accelerator marketing activities
- Content development including long-form writing, messaging, media and marketing materials
- Build and maintain relationships with Techstars’ corporate partners’ marketing teams; work collaboratively in support of shared campaigns
- Coordinate key milestone announcements about Techstars accelerator programs,
- Partner with PR agency on strategy and planning
Qualifications:
- 5+ years professional experience. 3-5 years of experience developing strategic communications and content marketing strategies
- Must have 2+ years working knowledge of PR and media relations
- Comfortable working with our corporate clients, executive level leaders
- Strong interest in the discourse around technology, startups, entrepreneurship and venture capital
- Driven and self-motivated, comfortable with working collaboratively and independently to drive initiatives
- Working knowledge of CRM tools such as Salesforce, marketo, marketing automation tools, marketing tracking tools, social media tools and basic Google suite
- Exceptional writing, communication and presentation skills are a must
- Periodic travel required
