Job Description
Kira Systems is looking for a Legal Account Director to join our rapidly growing sales team. As a Legal Account Director, you will help develop new business with large and mid-sized law firms, including regional and national firms in Southern Europe. Ideally, you will be based in the UK and you will be covering countries including: Spain, France, Portugal, and Italy.
Our account directors must love working with customers and thrive on seeing them succeed. You will leverage your expertise and knowledge to effectively manage relationships and new business opportunities. You will be working closely with the Kira Systems customer success, support, operations, and product teams. Your compensation will include a base salary as well as a commission.
What you'll be doing
- Establish trusted relationships with partners/senior lawyers, knowledge management, technology and c-suite executives at law firms, within the defined territory.
- Close new business, meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quotas and/or revenue targets.
- Develop and qualify new leads via calls and meetings to understand business needs.
- Become highly proficient and demonstrating the Kira product suite in person and remotely to different types and sizes of audiences.
- Develop and maintain relationships with multiple professionals within prospect firms and to develop a buying constituency.
- Rigorously manage proof of concept trials from beginning to close and successfully handover to new customers to the customer success team.
- Create proposals and negotiate contracts.
- Manage upsells during the first year after you win a new customer.
- Provide limited customer support (including sometimes at odd hours), as needed to support POCs and the sales process. Consistently use Kira’s Salesforce CRM system to log and manage prospect communications, keep deal status up to date and provide regular pipeline updates to management.
- Relay customer feedback to the product team as needed.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the product and ensure customers are using the software to its fullest.
- Other duties as required. These might include: representing the company at conferences and events, writing marketing copy for strategic campaigns, and more
What you bring
- Strong experience in sales, ideally in legal tech and/or B2B subscription SaaS software.
- A track record of meeting or exceeding annual sales targets.
- Previous experience working with and selling to law firms or other similar professional services organizations.
- Strong communication, listening, presentation, and negotiation skills in both English as well as at least one of the following languages: Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Italian
- Familiarity with CRM and support software systems.
- Be comfortable with technology, curious to learn more, and good at explaining technology to non-experts.
- Have high standards of integrity and trust that our customers and the Kira Systems team demands.
- Be self-motivated and able to manage projects successful without oversight.
