About this Position

Title: Contractor (Performance Consultant) Initial Location: United States (remote/home office) Technology Specialization: End User Experience and Application Performance Monitoring

Responsibilities:

• Serve as an expert in cloud migration, application performance, and/or application delivery, utilizing Aternity's complete Digital Performance platform
• Provide specialized planning and design expertise in digital experience monitoring, application performance troubleshooting and/or optimization and end user performance analysis
• Analyze and understand customer’s IT organization, requirements and processes, and use this knowledge to assist in achieving full adoption and utilization of Aternity's solutions to maximize ROI and business value
• Present and articulate advanced product features, benefits, and overall product solutions
• Produce solutions to fulfill customer needs within budget and schedule constraints
• Work directly with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders to achieve project goals

Qualifications:

• BS/MS degree in a technical field, or equivalent military or career experience
• Experience in professional services, technical consulting, or software development/systems administration preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, drive IT projects forward in large organizations, and translate technical features into tangible customer business benefits
• Self-motivated and capable of high performance under minimal supervision
• Excellent business writing and presentation skills
• Professionalism appropriate for working with Fortune 2000 clients
• Organized and detail-oriented, with strong customer service and technical skills
• Passion for teamwork and contributing to a world-class Professional Services team which values excellence, execution, and integrity

Desired Technical Skills:

• Foundational understanding of computer hardware systems, installing and upgrading software, and troubleshooting of basic IT issues
• Knowledge of cloud-based technology such as AWS, Azure, and Docker
• Strong knowledge of web technologies (server side and client side) such as Java Servlets, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, HTTP protocol and the RESTful architectural style.
• Network, application, and infrastructure performance monitoring and analysis experience is preferable
• Solid understanding of common Java or .NET web application architecture frameworks, distributed mechanisms and messaging components
• Understanding of IT methodologies for deploying and changing software in Enterprises
• Proven technical skills, including SQL and XML, along with an understanding of network/HTML/HTTP traffic
• Experience working with Linux OS and fundamentals of Linux scripting languages
