Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Digital Marketing Intern to join our Marketing Communications team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of our digital marketing and social media strategy. You will gain experience in managing and supporting our global social media monitoring platform to gain insight and identify opportunities to maximize our social engagement. Through collaboration with the Marketing team and other departments, you will create content that reflects our company’s established brand, products, and executives to effectively engage users and grow our digital marketing reach. You will collaborate with the Communications Specialist and design team to develop content, manage engagement, track, measure, and adjust tactics as needed to meet content performance goals. You will coordinate with internal corporate stakeholders to manage HR-related online platforms to drive consistent corporate and recruiting messaging. You will be responsible for analyzing the performance of social marketing programs and translate feedback into recommendations for future campaign building

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS INTERNSHIP
- Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Must be enrolled full-time at the college/university level for the Fall 2020 semester
- 2-3 years of social media experience from on-campus job or prior internship
- Successful track record of managing social media to protect a corporate brand and engage users
- Experience with social community building and management
- Experienced in content marketing theory and application, including experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing
- Knowledge of social platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and engagement tools like Oktopost a plus
- Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday
- Roles run from May to August
- This internship is based in our Atlanta, GA office, therefore interested applicants must reside in the Atlanta/Buckhead area
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
