Job Description:We are looking for a Senior Sales Operations Analyst to join the Sales Operations team. This role is part of the Sales Operations team working cross functionally with Sales, Finance, Accounting in order to report the sales forecast, funnel and bookings activity for UserTesting. This role will support standardized metrics, new sales metrics as required, ad-hoc reporting requests, and then will analyze results to provide insights, conclusions, and general guidance to the sales organization. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, hands-on, detail-oriented individual with experience reporting bookings data from CRM for our sales team, with a proven record of turning data into actionable insights. This person will support our dynamic sales organization by providing timely and accurate data to support decision making and productivity improvement.
Responsibilities:- Create bookings reports for executives and sales management, segmented by geography, product family, partner channel, customer vertical, customer size, etc.
- Design sales reports and dashboards in alignment with strategic initiatives by gathering business requirements, providing subject matter expertise, creating, testing and deploying.
- Generating presentations for various internal audiences to convey the state of the business and communicate key insights for decision makers.
- Help sales management enhance the understanding of their business, improve decision making and increase sales productivity.
- Assist with manufacturing demand planning by providing visibility into Salesforce.com sales funnel.
- Resolve case inquiries and be a trusted advisor to our sales team. Frequent communication with account executives and sales management to resolve a variety of issues and improvements related to forecast, bookings, sales systems, and sales process.
- Provide recommendations to sales leadership and the internal comp management team regarding exceptions requests and case escalations.
- Document business processes and create desktop procedures for monthly/quarterly close, commission accounting tasks, and audits.
- Execute assigned projects as needed and recommend and deliver process improvements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on sales forecast, sales systems and processes, and sales metrics.
Qualifications:- 3-5 years is required, ideally in financial analysis and/or accounting with experience working in a SaaS or technology company. A Bachelor Degree required; Finance, Economics, or related field is preferred.
- Strong communication (written and verbal), organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional data analysis and database skills (SQL preferred) and problem solving ability, including advanced proficiency in business intelligence (Tableau, Periscope, Looker a plus) or decision support systems, as well as Excel (lookups, pivot tables, macros, etc.).
- Experience with coverage models, quota setting and territory alignment preferred.
- Ability to multi-task while managing deadlines, perform well under pressure, work independently and as a part of a team.
