Summary
Want to make a real impact on a product you actually use?
For this Product Manager role in the Consumer group, you’ll own the content creation products that help our vibrant community of millions of users and businesses tell their story. You’ll need to think creatively about how to make content creation on Yelp engaging, rewarding, and beneficial to the community of users who rely on Yelp every day.
Where You Come In:
- You’ll delve into the mechanics of creating high-quality user generated content to engage the community and grow reviews
- You'll be the voice of our customers, both consumers and business owners. Connect with them on a regular basis.
- You’ll define and communicate product strategy and roadmap.
- You’ll define, prioritize, execute and measure features and experiments.
- You’ll work with our engineering and design teams to hone and iterate on your ideas.
- You’ll move quickly. We strive for design perfection but love to release and iterate.
What it Takes to Succeed:
- You have 4+ years of experience building consumer facing products. Previous experience in building community oriented or SMB products a plus.
- You're passionate about understanding the customer through hands on research.
- You have an eye for UX detail: your wireframes convey a product vision.
- You have a solid understanding of how to grow metrics and lots of practice running experiments.
- You're great with data: you can run your own queries and turn data into actionable insights.
- You have experience managing the development process: you know how to make things happen.
- You play well with others: you enjoy sharing knowledge and ideas with others as much as learning from them!
