Job Description
Everlane is looking for a Vice President of Global Logistics & Distribution to develop a world class, sustainable operation for moving product around the world. You will lead the strategy and execution of global fulfillment, inbound and outbound transportation, and reverse logistics. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial minded operator who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves solving problems. You will report directly to the Chief Supply Chain Officer.
Your day-to-day:
- Lead the strategy and execution of supply chain operations moving product from factory to customer and back
- Develop and execute best in class supply chain processes including cross-border logistics, warehouse operations, and retail operations
- Own relationship with Everlane’s 3PL partnering to continuously optimize Everlane’s warehouse strategy and operations
- Build, develop and lead a team providing training and mentorship for your direct reports
- Work cross-functionally with Vendors, Product, Retail, Finance, Customer Experience and Marketing teams
- Plan and execute strategic growth initiatives across the supply chain in inventory, distribution center, order fulfillment and home delivery
- Establish strategy for optimizing transportation costs and service
- Travel frequently to warehouse locations in the USA and internationally
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- 10+ years in an operational role with experience in supply chain, logistics, distribution and warehousing
- Experience in ecommerce fulfillment or operations
- Experience working with a global network of 3PLs and transportation providers
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive business decisions
- Excellent project management, communication and organizational skills
- Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to build a team
- An intense curiosity that keeps you up at night solving problems
- Startup mentality: scrappy, creative, and constantly iterating to be best-in-class
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and energetic environment
- Passion for retail, minimalist design and disrupting an age-old industry
