Your Opportunity
The Senior Manager, Bank Operations Business Process Efficiency is responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of the Bank Operations and Servicing. The senior manager will build strong relationships with the business partners, stakeholders and domains to analyze complex business problems and identify strategic and tactical solutions to help optimize the business.
The role is chartered to deliver analytical insights and creative solutions to improve operational effectiveness and document process steps that streamline efficiency and operational integrity.
What you’re good at
- Responsible for all aspects of projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through completion.
- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers.
- Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.
- Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge.
- Builds specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.
- Build Operational reports and analytics to support workflow and servicing and pipeline metrics.
- May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues.
- May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.
Projects:
- Support projects as needed to operationalize and ensure smooth transitions.
- Support staff model efficiency tools to support project optimization decisions
- Quantify and qualify project benefits and business value delivered for enhanced reporting
- Build process maps/flows to outline improved processes and add to existing process map inventory
What you have
- 5+ years Financial Operations or Operational Excellence experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of Banking regulations and their applicability in an affiliate business model
- 3+ years Operational process development and improvement.
- Ability to work across organizational boundaries and build strong partnerships
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.
- Self-starter with good time management skills. Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong data management skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
