What We’re Looking for

We are looking for an experienced mobile UI developer who loves working on thoughtful products that will be used by hundreds of thousands of users and businesses every day. You will be integrally involved in the entire product cycle - working with research, UX, design, development, customer experience, and marketing teams to design and launch new features in a rapid development environment.

You are self-motivated, highly-organized, analytical, and persuasive, with the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.

You will

• Work within Later’s cross-functional (design, engineering, marketing) teams to iterate on existing or new features
• Participate in user research phase alongside UX designers to understand user goals and contribute to designing product flows and architecture
• Create and maintain mobile UX/UI documentation
• Collaborate to build a holistic user experience and bridge overlapping functionalities between features and platforms (Web, iOS, Android)
• Take detailed UI specifications and translate into UI that meets the vision and key objectives of the feature.
• Contribute to building out practices, rituals and culture across Later’s design team

You have

• A strong portfolio showcasing your best work
• Ability to define problems, map user flows, prototype ideas, and produce quality deliverables across different platforms
• Experience with building and maintaining design systems
• Understanding of usability, layout, typography and visual hierarchy principles
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
