Job Description

The Salesforce Architect will be accountable for the overall success of Vlocity’s showcase Salesforce implementation. As a leading Salesforce ISV, we leverage the power of our own Vlocity products to enhance the Salesforce platform to run our entire front and mid-office processes.

The successful candidate will work in a highly collaborative environment, working with all departments: Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Support. The role will also include working closely with the Vlocity product team to implement and showcase our own products (including CPQ, Contract Lifecycle Management, and DevOps). The candidate should possess broad technical skills, deep cloud industry knowledge, and unparalleled business acumen.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Vlocity Salesforce CRM Applications and Data Architecture vision and strategy
• Provide architecture leadership and oversight for large transformational enterprise impacting initiatives
• Promote the EA processes, strategies and recommendations to the IT and business leaders
• Evaluate and implement AppExchange packages and third party products to solve business problems with our Salesforce platform
• Collaborate with Integrations and other Systems leads to design and develop holistic and lean enterprise architecture to support Vlocity business needs.
• Design, configure and implement Salesforce features, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls
• Support our management teams with insights from data analysis and data management
• Provide clear and effective documentation and training to users
• Manage and configure integrations with Salesforce
• Run cross departmental projects
• Provide support for a diverse and rapidly growing user base

As Vlocity’s first dedicated Salesforce Administrator, you’ll directly contribute to the hyper-growth of our company. You’ll also have the unique opportunity to expand your Salesforce knowledge by working closely with Vlocity product managers and engineers doing some of the most interesting digital transformation work on the Salesforce platform.

Qualifications

You’ll have an acute attention to detail, be highly process oriented, be able to multitask efficiently and productively, while exercising excellent judgment that considers the needs of all stakeholders. Most importantly, you excel in fast paced, dynamic environments, can match the energy level of our passionate people, and without hesitation, jump in to get it done.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Additional certifications a plus
• Salesforce Architect Certification
• 7+ years of SFDC Enterprise Architecture experience
• 10+ years of experience managing and customizing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Partner Cloud, Communities
• 5+ years of experience in SaaS Industry
• Hands-on experience with developer console and writing SOQL/SOSL queries
• Experience with AppExchange and deploying/customizing 3rd party add-ons and managed packages
• Experience migrating Salesforce from Classic to Lightning interface and working in a mixed environment
• Experience with data integrity, data quality, data migration and data maintenance
• Project management skills and experience driving programs independently
• Release/change management, using multiple sandboxes and change sets. Salesforce DX and/or DevOps tools (Copado, AutoRabbit, etc.) a plus
• Experience with FinancialForce a plus
• Experience with any CPQ or Contract Management packages a plus
• Must be San Francisco based
