Sr. Product Manager/Product Manager to work closely with our designers, researchers, data scientists, and engineers. We are a close-knit team that is inspired to change the world of mobility through research, data, and thoughtful critique. This individual must demonstrate a strong record of solving complex business problems, creating compelling designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to make their teams stronger and more effective.
What You’ll Do:
- Be the lead advisor for mobility and fleet management products and drive recommendations for the product lifecycle and planning processes
- Own the ideation and planning of user discovery activities to define business problems and test/validate solutions
- Be a user story expert – deliver stories that accurately define the work and how objectives will be achieved, as well as serve as a model for teams
- Own the negotiation and trade-off process to produce a groomed, prioritized backlog that aligns our work to specific business outcomes
- Lead the day-to-day activities of the engineering team across the agile software development process – artifact production, ritual management, quality outcomes
- Lead, and be personally accountable for building in the voice of the customer / user feedback
- Serve as a subject matter expert and product spokesperson for the mobility product portfolio
- Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of new features and product initiatives
- Establish a shared vision among product stakeholders by building consensus on priorities and features leading to launch and execution
- Specify and research initiatives with extreme detail
- Effectively use data and analytics to evolve and inform the direction of product development
- Provide thought leadership, strategic insight, and clear communication (written and verbal) to the team on strategy
About You:
- You’re an accomplished product leader with experience in product vision and culture, team development, and execution.
- You’re eager to collaborate with a team of highly capable product managers and designers with deep subject matter expertise.
- You’re no stranger to fast-paced environments and agile development methodologies.
- You enjoy challenging projects involving hardware and software, and you’re cool under pressure.
- You respect and value your designers, product managers and engineers, and understand the power of working with a motivated product team.
Required Qualifications: We don’t expect this person to be an expert in everything, but you should have experience in:
- 4+ years of product management experience, especially with SaaS, web, and mobile products
- Proven application of agile software development practices (e.g., scrum)
- Proven application of user testing and prototyping paradigms
- Passion for what we are trying to achieve in fleet management, mobility, and personal transportation
- Skilled at defining and prioritizing product features
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate well with engineers, designers, researchers, data scientists, and management
- Previous success working with an agile development team
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, human factors, or business field
