We are now looking for
a License Compliance Manager with a prior experience in handling software licensing audit to join our team in Singapore. Experience in CAD software products particularly AEC (Architecture-Engineering-Construction) space is preferred.
This role is expected to be a change agent, proposing and executing radical change to the LC systems in ASEAN, JAPAN & KOREA for Trimble Architecture & Design Division to bring huge growth.
As a License Compliance Manager you will be responsible for: - Hunting for pirates in the assigned territory from different channels like social media, internet, job sites, B2B portals
- Identifying, recruiting and managing License Compliance Agencies to deliver LC pipelines and attained given targets
- Conducting regular reviews of LC opportunities with the appointed LC agencies
- Acting as a point of contact to LC agencies, for all point of escalation on all LC matters
- Ensuring LC Agencies conform to business practices and Trimble’s policy/guideline as stipulated in the contracts
- Working closely with Sales, Channels team and partners to ensure a smooth engagement on LC
- Tasks for the specific territory where we don’t operate through LC agency; you will have to directly generate leads, prospect identification, execute license compliance actions such as warning letters, site visits, negotiations and closure.
To be successful in this role, you should have: - Diploma or graduate in Engineering or Science
- Work experience of around 4 to 5 years of working in compliance business
- A clear understanding about violation, infringement and corrective measures software publisher is implementing
- Good existing relationships with known License Compliance Agencies within the region
- Good oral and written communication skills with an ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders, both within and outside the organization
- Discretion in the handling of the politically sensitive and confidential information
- Flexible attitude to working environment and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work on own initiative and to be proactive in developing, improving and contributing to Trimble Architecture & Design Division business
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationship with people.
