Job Description
Yesware is looking for an experienced IT professional to work with our customer-facing and product-facing teams to help us deliver a smooth, successful experience for new users of our Microsoft products. As a Senior Technical Consultant with Yesware, you will help support the Outlook new user installation process from start to finish -- including assisting on customer calls, troubleshooting technical set-up, and collecting product feedback. This role is central to one of our highest impact business segments. Areas of Responsibilities:- Business Results: Contribute to revenue growth by supervising product installation and supporting pilot processes for strategic accounts, working closely with our Sales and Customer Success teams
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise -- such as system configuration limitations, user access permissions, etc -- working closely with the clients’ Sales Operations or IT teams
- Product Improvement: Circulate common product issues and discoveries to relevant Product Management and Engineering teams, helping us make incremental change and strengthen our roadmap
- Documentation & Education: Serve as an expert internally and externally for our Outlook user installation process, documenting learnings and best practices to help build out our internal knowledge base
Qualifications:- 7+ years of experience working in corporate IT, technical consulting, or sales engineering in relevant field
- Expertise in the Microsoft application ecosystem is a must (ie. Outlook, M365, Windows, etc.)
- Ability to command technical conversations and make informed recommendations
- Strong customer-facing and business communication skills
- Patience, curiosity, independent work style, and comfort with ambiguity will all be helpful traits
- Experience working remotely
- Interest working cross-functionally, in a fast-paced startup environment, with a diverse group of people
