Job Description

Are you an undergraduate junior, senior, or graduate student with a passion for digital media? We are looking for a paid Creative, Business Development Intern who will be responsible for assisting in creating design deliverables to our clients. If diving deep into the world of YouTube, digital entertainment, and the social media influencer landscape is interesting to you, we welcome you to Fullscreen! The creative development intern will assist the team in every aspect of the creative process, from participating at brainstorming meetings and creating detailed social mock-ups and moodboards. Interns assist on multiple projects in various stages of Creative, getting hands-on experience with content creation at a digital agency and learning to account for creativity, digital strategy, client needs, and production capabilities. Our interns play a hands-on role in our content and even take initiative to spearhead campaigns or concepts. Interns will work on multiple projects in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment, especially as we shift creative concepts to accommodate for COVID-19 restrictions. Aside from being enthusiastic about what we do, we're looking for someone with a consistent record of being a great teammate to support and fulfill the strategic objectives of a highly cross-functional organization. The internship is 20 hours per week for 12 weeks and will start on September 14th or September 28th, depending on what date best fits your academic calendar

Responsibilities

    • Pitch Deck Design: Designing pitch decks that will be presented to clients with extremely quick turn around
    • Fresh Design/photo research for branded campaigns
    • High level comping: making very detailed social mock-ups
    • Creating title cards and detailed Key Visuals for upcoming programs
    • Organize inspiration, imagery and graphics
    • Curate moodboards based on image research
    • Assist in ideating and visually developing art direction for social media campaigns

Qualifications

    • Have 3.0 GPA or higher, be currently enrolled Undergraduate Junior or Senior or Graduate student in Design, Digital Art, Media Studies / Production
    • PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, we are not able to accept recent graduates into the internship program at this time
    • Expert in: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Keynote, Google Slides, Mac + IOS, Proficient in Power Point. Nice Bonus: Premiere Pro + After Effects
    • Hands on experience with graphic design, preferably: editorial, marketing, advertising, social media design, typography, video graphics, informational graphics
    • Experience designing decks on PowerPoint or Keynote is a must.
    • Good eye for detail as well as keen interest in in branding, advertising, influencer marketing, social media
    • Culturally aware and engaged : Regularly reads the news and active on social media
    • Strong organizational/prioritization skills, to balance multiple projects at various stages of development in our fast-paced environment.
    • An ability to accept feedback and take it into account- our team receives feedback from many places- each other, the client, other teams, etc. Exceptional candidates have an ability to accept that feedback and make necessary changes.
    • Strong communication skills- Our team serves as a point-person between multiple teams to bring our videos to life. Exceptional candidates will speak often, appropriately, and properly to serve the team’s needs
    • Motivated by making the world a better place through creative expression
    • Be a self-starter with a strong desire to win and to grow personally and professionally
    • Extremely hard working and excited to learn and collaborate
    • Knowledge of current design trends with fresh taste is important.
