Information Security Engineer

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, the Information Security Engineer plays an integral role in supporting Aquent’s ability to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of its information assets and services. This position will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and enforcing information security standards, processes and initiatives. This position is also responsible for managing threat intelligence, internal audits, risk assessments, incident response along with overall information security program oversight.

We are looking for an experienced information security professional with the desire to help our organization achieve our business objectives while protecting the information assets used to support our Clients, Talent, and Staff.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute the threat intelligence program
• Maintain and enforce information security standards
• Ensure day-to-day operational tasks are performed and security metrics are relevant and current
• Conduct risk assessments and present findings to senior leadership
• Execute and improve incident response processes
• Support business units by providing information security expertise
• Lead data loss prevention efforts across the organization
• Coordinate vulnerability and patch management programs across the organization
• Conduct information security awareness campaigns

Requirements:

• 5-7 years experience working in information security
• Bachelor's degree in a related field of study preferred
• CISSP or other information security certification preferred
• Knowledge and experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) management. Experience with Sumo Logic is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with vulnerability management services
• Experience working in an environment with Macintosh-based computers
• Experience working with cross-functional team members, ideally in some form of a SecDevOps function
• Experience managing and maintaining data loss prevention services
• Knowledge and experience protecting cloud-based services such as IaaS and SaaS
• Experience using scripting and APIs to increase operational efficiencies
