The third is Audi Select, a monthly subscription service, available exclusively in the Dallas-Ft. Worth-area. Silvercar’s team is currently hiring a Senior Accountant . We are looking for an experienced accountant with an attention to detail, who is a self-starter that values teamwork and can take on a task and complete in a timely, accurate manner.

As a Sr. Accountant, you will:

• Ensure revenue transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with US GAAP or IFRS on a regular schedule as determined by management
• Research and analysis of complex accounting issues (revenue recognition, emerging topic, and etc.), as necessary
• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliation for assigned general ledger accounts and balance sheets, which include accruals & variance analysis
• Prepare fixed asset schedules, travel agents commission calculations and insurance claims analysis
• Assist with the preparation of the financial statements
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual filing sales/use tax forms, insurance forms and airport reporting in multi-state environments
• Assist with audit requests and tax reporting & compliance
• Review journal entries for AR / AP and assist with AR / AP duties when needed
• Provide leadership and mentoring for more junior employees on the team
• Process weekly A/P checks and ACH/Wires

Required qualifications:

• Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Strong analytical and accounting skills
• Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Excel required
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of major accounting software packages, NetSuite preferred
• Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty
• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills

Even better if you have:

• CPA / CMA or have sat for all or parts of the exam
• Advanced MS Excel skills including pivot tables, vlookups, etc.
