You will report to the Director of Regulatory and Compliance UK and work closely with members of our Legal and Compliance team and cross- functional teams across the organisation. What You'll Do
- Work with our Member Services team responding to complaint and privacy requests including escalation from the Financial Ombudsman Service, identifying themes and continuous improvement opportunities
- Design and implement monitoring and quality assurance programmes, including privacy, and relevant FCA handbook requirements.
- Carry out due diligence of partners and vendors.
- Represent Compliance in cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders to manage existing risks or proactively identify and mitigate upcoming risks
- Assess the business impact of new and evolving regulatory requirements in the consumer financial products space
- Educate stakeholders about regulatory issues as they relate to a broad range of products and features
- Identify and address underlying problems (not just discrete issues) arising in regulatory or operational areas
- Manage a high volume of work while being able to maintain perspective and prioritise the work according to company goals

Minimum Basic Requirements
- 2 + years experience within a compliance department of an international company or comparable relevant legal experience
Experience We're Looking For
- In-depth knowledge of applicable regulatory and compliance requirements for a consumer finance or financial technology business, compliance risk management practices and methodologies, including risk assessment, monitoring/surveillance and testing activities.
- Creating, tracking and reporting compliance program metrics to deliver accountability and ensure effective use of compliance tools.
- Strong project management skills, and reporting progress and risks to colleagues and senior management.
- Highly collaborative person who works in partnership with the other members of the global legal and compliance teams as well as business stakeholders at all levels.
- Someone who learns quickly and enjoys solving problems in practical ways.
- Knowledge of GDPR and its implementation in a global company is a plus.
