We are looking for an experienced Head of Talent to oversee the design and execution of recruitment strategies to attract, evaluate, and hire exceptional talent. The ideal candidate is solution-oriented with a growth mindset who will drive initiatives for creative pipeline generation, ensuring a diverse candidate pool to meet the needs of the business. This includes creating and defining sourcing strategies, developing processes for better operational efficiency, creating goals and reporting (ie. optimal time to fill and quality of hiring metrics). The ideal candidate will lead and grow our talent acquisition team while ensuring a strong recruiting culture focused on candidate experience, diversity, timeliness, and quality while meeting the demanding hiring volumes. Responsibilities:
- Build a data-driven organization by using key metrics to determine the overall effectiveness of the company’s talent acquisition
- Provide recommendations to leadership on areas of opportunity and growth
- Report on market conditions, considerations, and impacts to the leadership team
- Develop a talent strategy to align with the overall growth and expansion of the business and talent framework
- Contribute to the creation of an organizational location strategy
- Act as a strong partner to business leaders to provide consultation on talent acquisition strategies and challenges
- Introduce new and/or improved methodologies for attracting, assessing, and hiring top talent
- Provide the organization with time-sensitive performance metrics and seek feedback regarding the effectiveness of the talent acquisition team
- Be a passionate coach for the talent department and create a learning environment for the team to excel in all areas of full-cycle recruitment
- Develop strategy, including hands-on work to develop and manage the full cycle recruiting process for selected reqs as needed
- Partner with People, Marketing, and Leadership teams to help LaunchDarkly continue to refine our brand as an employer of choice for candidates
- Support DEI initiatives and ensure all Talent programs align with our vision and values
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition for high growth companies
- 3+ years of management experience
- An inspirational leader with great communications skills and presence
- Exposure to diversity, equity, and inclusion concepts, programs, and initiatives, as well as experience building programs that attract and hire diverse talent
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
- Thorough attention to detail
- Proven success building talent acquisition programs with detailed reporting metrics that illustrate and document the team's capabilities and accomplishments
- A passion for retaining and developing a best in class team of recruiters
- A track record of effective cross-functional collaboration across disciplines
- The ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly fast-paced organization that requires you to flex between strategic, operational, and tactical levels
- Experience implementing ATS and sourcing systems
- Excellent project management capabilities, with the ability to lead and prioritize multiple projects concurrently
- Service-oriented and passionate for the talent realm
Basic Qualifications:
- BA degree
- 5+ years experience leading a Talent Acquisition team
- Experience seeing a company scale from 200 to 500+ in employee headcount
