What We Are Looking For: Domio is looking for a Front Desk Supervisor to join the team in Tulum for a property opening at the end of November. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a clear understanding of guest service in a hotel environment, and demonstrate leadership abilities.

At Domio You Will:

    • Manage and supervise the Front desk to ensure Domio standards are being upheld
    • Manage and supervise the Front desk team to provide open communication, training, coaching, counseling, and performance feedback to ensure we are consistently delighting our guests at maximum efficiency
    • Serve as Manager on Duty
    • Maintain proper inventory of supplies
    • Monitor booking changes and make staffing/scheduling adjustments accordingly
    • Assist team where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests
    • Communicate with all departments regarding in house VIPs and any special requests/needs
    • Interact with guests and hotel associates in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information
    • Manage and resolve all guest complaints and compliments in a professional and courteous manner, using effective conflict resolution processes
    • Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice
    • This role will assist the Hotel Manager as needed

Who You Are:

    • Minimum of 1 year front desk supervisory/management experience in a hotel property or vacation rental management
    • Ability to coordinate and cooperate with other departments regarding front desk services/activities
    • Must be highly organized and results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced changing environment
    • Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner and exhibit good judgment
    • Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice
    • Strong interpersonal skills -ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful and flexible
    • Must have excellent supervisory skills
    • Ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends
    • Opera experience is a plus
