We are looking for an experienced software engineer with a passion for quality and excited to demonstrate their technical chops to become a part of this ambitious effort.

As a part of the Quality Engineering organization, you will work with several agile teams to validate the end-to-end scenarios before releasing worldwide. In order to achieve success careful planning, engineering design, coordination, implementation, and communication are just a few of the necessary skills.

Our products are built using many technologies and languages such as AWS, Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, Reach, and Redux. Your experience working on complex systems and driving to deliver on time will be put to use. In addition, you will apply your testing and automation skills to quickly verify quality and identify defects early in the cycle. The scope of the feature areas will include both service level validation as well as end-to-end user scenarios through the user interface (UI).

The role:

Your role as a Senior Software Engineer at SAP Concur in the Quality Engineering organization will include the activities necessary to ship quality software and services. You will be responsible for reviewing feature designs, performing sprint planning, and estimating development costs. Lastly, you will employ a variety of testing tools and techniques to efficiently test and automate features and products.

An additional component of this role will include setting test and automation strategy, supporting testing infrastructure, and working directly with the rest of the development teams to ensure quality metrics are being met.

Role requirements:

This is an experienced software engineering position. Requirements include:

• A degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years of relevant software engineering and testing experience
• The ability to demonstrate sound software development principles
• Experience with Node.JS, Java, JavaScript, AWS technologies, ElasticSearch, Kibana, Jenkins, Selenium WebDriver, and relational databases are desirable
• Thorough understanding of software testing techniques
• The desire to work in an Agile Development environment
• A passion for ensuring software quality
