About The Role:

Become a New Products Production Planner II for our Boston Scientific Operations planning team! Our new products planners are responsible for new products which are in all phases of development from exploratory through validation, scale up and launch. You will be responsible for planning the manufacture of components and top assemblies for your assigned products while working with local and global partners across the BSC plant network as well as our BSC contract manufacturers. This position provides the opportunity to own and improve our new products planning processes, tools and systems. Our planners are passionate about continuous improvement and work closely with key partners and customers throughout the value stream. Use your knowledge, skills and passion to help improve the quality, cost and delivery of Boston Scientific components and medical devices for our customers and patients across the globe.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Coordinating plans for new products through the new products planning process
• Manage the daily, weekly and monthly planning processes
• Planning support for manufacturing business units
• Proactively identify and problem solve material shortages
• Manage master data in SAP
• Facilitate project build meetings to support contract project goals
• Monitor planned production versus actual production
• Facilitate manufacturing planning handshake during the SIOP Process
• Manage projects production orders and independent requirements
• Actively communicate to senior management during schedule adherence reviews
• Provide inventory analysis
• Proactively participate in continuous improvement

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3-5+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing planning, inventory control, demand planning or supply chain function
• Knowledge and experience in: Utilizing manufacturing software (ideally SAP), Materials management tools: DRP, MPS, and MR

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP MRP experience
• Proficient Excel skills
• Knowledge & experience with Sales & Operations Planning process
• Experience with vertically integrated sites/ planning (Components, Sub-Assemblies-Finished Goods)
• APICS certification
• Experience in driving continuous improvements
