As an PDE KEG Engineer, you will be responsible for development / support of highly automated and computerized Backend equipment (Module SSD). You will lead and/or participate in teams to support, improve, provide innovative solution and recommendation to enhance equipment performance, capabilities and features to meet production and new product requirements. You will require to support, install and qualify Equipment deployed globally to other manufacturing sites in order to most effectively meet customer / product requirements as well as global Assembly and Micron objectives. You will be involved in design and develop of automation solution. You will participate in teams to support site integration / new site development efforts and support global alignment activities.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Engineering robust manufacturing solutions appropriate for HVM.
• Work closely with the site-based manufacturing organization to drive efficient and effective manufacturing through systematic continuous improvement activities.
• Manage projects from definition through first-of-kind deployment into production.
• Work with site-based Manufacturing Engineering teams to establish new equipment specifications, design requirements, and qualification processes.
• Support Tool of Record (TOR), Change Management (BEGCP), and other key business process within Module/SSD area.
• Establish technical expertise on equipment and processes and provide technical support to Global teams when required.
• Develop new equipment and modification procedures, and training documentation.
• Collaborate with external equipment suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver strategic and innovative solutions to Manufacturing.
• Effectively present data, design reviews and information to Manufacturing, technical teams and Management.

Key Deliverables

1. SMT Line Automation Project, collaborating with Micron’s Automation Partner, vendors and SMT equipment vendors for SECS/GEM development/alignment:
2. 3D SAOI Evaluation including Micron Automation Requirements (Universal Process Tray)
3. Maintain equipment support for SSD/module at relevant site.
