Overview:
- Our company is growing exponentially, and so we are looking for an Onboarding Coordinator to support our People Operations team in creating an excellent onboarding experience for our many new team members! In this role you will be instrumental in maintaining a strong partnership across the business by providing administrative support primarily in the areas of employee onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, and off-boarding. You will also have a hand in levelling our employees up by helping to drive Employee Growth and Development initiatives and administering programs/policies that will promote a high performing culture and support our rapid growth. Your Impact:
- Prepare and administer all new hire documentation
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate files for all employees
- Coordinate and schedule orientation process for all new hires
- Respond to general employee inquiries regarding policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook/Confluence page and provide guidance
- Administer and enroll employees in all benefits programs and act as the main point of contact for applicable benefits questions and promote existing plan coverage on an ongoing basis
- Ensure that employee off-boarding guidelines are coordinated and administered
- Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and provincial legislation.
- Generate and create reports and data analytics as requested, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of the data and information, and identifying trends.
- Support HRIS administration through the coordination of software integrations, general settings, backend changes, information updates (individual and mass updates at year-end for salary and job information {BambooHR, Lever, D2L}
- Support and participate in various Employee Growth and development programs or initiatives
- Participate in the bi-monthly payroll process by updating and providing information for new hires, promotions, terminations, and employee changes
- Other duties as assigned
Who You Are:
- 1-3 years working in human resources
- 1+ years of payroll and benefits administration experience
- Knowledge of Employment legislation, Health & Safety legislation, and WSIB requirements is an asset
- Ability to exercise tact and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
- Detail-oriented and able to work to tight timelines.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with employees at various levels of the organization.
