As a valued colleague on our team, you will contribute to designing, producing, testing, or implementing routine or foundational software, technology, or processes, as well as contribute to creating and maintaining IT architecture, large scale data stores, and cloud-based systems.

The Digital Engineering - Software Engineering - Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Gather and document information about the needs of the customer and create preliminary solution frameworks.
  • Under the guidance of management, design and develop software solutions to meet needs.
  • Apply fundamental knowledge of process-driven approach in designing solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior staff to implement new software technology.
  • Maintain existing software using standard methods, practices, and precedents.
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Desired Experiences
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
Skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment (both Kanban and Scrum).
  • Experience with all levels of testing including building/maintaining test automation suites.
  • Experience with captcha and image processing with other 3rd party tools desired.
  • Experience in making objects common and best practices in terms of versioning and maintenance.
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information.
  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion.
  • Experience defining and managing changes to documents, code, computer programs, websites, and other files to enable collaboration and ensure teams are working from the latest version.
  • Product Development including designing products, developing product roadmaps, translating design requirements, prototyping, etc.
  • Determining causes of operating errors and taking corrective action.
  • Product Testing including testing and evaluating software, usability testing, UAT, and using relevant product testing technology
  • Programming including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages
  • Experience identifying measures, or indicators of system performance, and the actions needed to improve or correct performance to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Expertise in service management concepts for networks and related standards such as ITIL practices or SDLC.
Tools
  • Experience in Blue Prism/Robotics Process Automation.
  • Experience in Business Process Management and automation frameworks.
  • Experienced with Git, Subversion, or another revision control product.
  • Experience in C# and Visual Basic.
  • Experience accessing documents across firewalls, Oracle/Access/other DBs via OLEDB, using/implementing APIs across firewalls.
  • Experience with BP Digital Exchange.
