Job Summary

As a mobile first product designer, you will join a fast paced team and help build cutting edge mobile apps and world class user experiences. But perhaps more importantly, you’ll be contributing to projects that have the potential to positively impact millions of people around the world. This position is highly interactive and demands creative problem solving and fresh thinking every day. Together we will architect fresh mobile-first experiences that solve important problems.

The ideal candidate should have several years of mobile focused UI/UX experience. Not a designer who also does mobile, but a mobile first thinker through and through.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant UI experience including demonstrated experience in designing visually compelling consumer mobile interfaces.
• 3+ years designing consumer mobile apps.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Attention to detail and a solid understanding of visual communication.
• Familiarity with proven and emerging tools for interface design and prototyping, including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and good ol' fashioned pen & paper.
• Created or contributed to mobile design systems based on brand language & platform standards.
• Basic understanding of how designs are implemented by client engineers (HTML/CSS/JS, Auto Layout, etc)
• Familiarity with the design sprint process and rapid prototyping.
• Produced UI interactions & animations using modern, developer-friendly tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.

• Experience with leading product design for projects that present multidisciplinary challenges and span multiple platforms and departments
• Proven ability to present a strategic rationale for design decisions to stakeholders
• Experience demonstrating ownership of projects and communicating timelines, executing independently
