their customers, letting us take care of the complexities of processing their customer data reliably at scale . We’re in the running to power the entire customer data ecosystem, and we need the best people to take the market. We're looking to grow our sales team by finding bright, hardworking Sales Development Reps who can help develop our outbound strategy. We’re still a young team so each member plays an integral role in building the foundation of our future sales organization. At Segment, you will be joining a team that is dedicated to helping you learn the B2B software sales industry, and develop your career . We promote from within and provide a wide range of opportunities to become an Account Executive or expand into other roles at Segment.
What you’ll do :
- Spearhead the growth & adoption of Segment w ith Commercial and/or Enterprise customers
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through various outbound channels to increase customer interest, and excitement in Segment products.
- Respond to and qualify incoming inquiries regarding interest in Segment products
- Craft a great first impression to our prospects and customers by adding value during every customer touchpoint
- Partner with our experienced AEs to help fill pipeline and grow your skills
- Engage in team development and mentoring
- Achieve monthly quotas of sourced qualified opportunities and closed business

You’re a great fit if you...
- You have 1–2 years of work experience, SDR/BDR experience is a plus
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- You have knowledge of the marketing technology industry
- You are hungry to be great
- You have high energy and a positive attitude
- You are enthusiastic about learning the software sales space
- You have intellectual curiosity and high ambition
This role requires being full-time in Denver or San Francisco.

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado.
Salary:
Denver/Boulder Metro:
Tier 4 base salary range: $42,800-$53,500
Sales Commission: Additionally, this role is eligible to earn commissions and eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
