What You’ll Do

We are looking for a product leader to drive our organization’s vision and execution in delivering best-in-class property management solutions. As the Director of Product for our Corporate Market, you will directly impact the success of AppFolio’s largest customers.

Your central responsibility will be to empower an exceptional team of product managers to build products and services our customers both love and rely on to manage their growing businesses.

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to develop new and innovative products that will change the landscape in property management software for large users.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure the Corporate segment exceeds our goals for revenue, unit growth, and adoption
• Create a multi-year strategy, roadmap, execution path, and related measurements for our Corporate Market initiatives
• Drive initiatives with segment leaders/partner teams to accelerate up-market adoption
• Clearly articulate and evangelize our product strategy to the organization
• Building trusting relationships and collaborate cross-functionally to execute the Corporate Market strategy
• Lead, coach, and support a highly effective team of passionate product managers to foster a high-performance culture
• Recruit world-class product management talent

• Communication: Leaders across the organization are able to articulate what is being worked on by your teams, why it is being done, the objective, and the expected outcome.
• Relationship builder: Ability to build strong, lasting relationships and make connections across AppFolians and customers
• Urgency: Instills a strong sense of urgency and focuses on delivering value for the organization continually within the team.
• Perseverance: Demonstrates resilience and persistence to achieve business outcomes in the face of adversity.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience with taking high-tech products and technologies to market
• 5+ years of experience managing and mentoring product managers
• Excellent leadership and relationship building skills
• Leadership - Proven ability to lead large cross-functional teams
• A strong technical background – Significant hands-on experience building technology products is preferred
• Real estate background – experience working on PropTech products is a plus
