Who Are We Looking For?
A Data Analyst who can serve Payments Operations, via KPI insight, data stewardship, data table creation, data querying, dashboarding, and analyses, while identifying opportunities to optimize the business, in coordination with the wider Payments organization.
What You’ll Do
- Use best-practice Payments Analytics to inform KPI definition and reporting
- Coordinate with stakeholders on the best way to track the Payments performance.
- Define KPI set by revenue stream, for clarity of business operations.
- Work with Payments Analytics to produce data pulls for KPIs or metric values.
- Provide regular recurring reporting and analytics for Payments Analytics.
- Maintain all backend table calls that deliver KPI values or feed reports.
- Create and maintain sophisticated Tableau dashboards for Payments operations
- Collaborate with the Analytics Engineering team to make use of the necessary data and make requests for additions/changes where needed.
- Create the framework and logic for the dashboard to auto-update and provide a clear, live view into the health of Payments.
- Maintain Payments dashboard suite in functionality, logic, and accuracy.
- Work with Payments Leadership to ensure dashboards provide the necessary visibility for business operations.
- Produce and support data analyses of the Payments business, to inform business decisioning
- Help provide data to be available and ready for analyses/experiments
- Support analyses and provide best-practice strategies
- Assist in defining hypotheses based on observations and partner insights
- As needed, perform ad-hoc analyses for individual inquiries
Must-Haves
- BS or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in a Data Analytics role.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in a Payments business.
- Familiarity with the lifecycle of multiple payment methods (debit, credit, ACH, etc) required.
- Strong business acumen and experience in a business setting.
- Strong Tableau, SQL, and Excel skills required.
- Familiarity with R or Python preferred.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce suggested.
- Ability to support, work and communicate with a fast, cross-functional team.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Listening and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate ideas in both technical and business terms
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
